How to clean Hotpoint Aquarius Washing Machine Pump Filter and Dispensing Drawer.

In this simple to follow video I will show you how to remove the detergent drawer from your Hotpoint Washing Machine and then How to clean the Hotpoint Washing Machine Detergent dispensing drawer. I will then show you how to remove the Hotpoint Washing machine pump filter and then how to clean the Hotpoint Washing Machine pump filter.

It is important to check your pump filter annually as it can get blocked up with coins and hair clips etc. If your Hotpoint Washing machine or Indesit washing machine is making lots of noise or it is not draining properly then chances are your pump filter is blocked.
If you live in hard water area it is even more important to clean your washing machine.

I will then show you how to re-install the Hotpoint Aquarius Washing machine Detergent dispensing drawer and re-install the Hotpoint Aquarius Washing machine pump filter.

The only tools you will need is some cloths, maybe a flat bladed screwdriver, your hands and cleaning detergents. And of course the main thing you need is a lovely cup of tea.

Is the wastage pipe at the back of the machine that connects to the pipework under the sink meant to be compleyly clear? As I have some sort of black nozzle in the end of the output end of the pipe… And my washing machine is full of water so I’m suspecting it’s this?
